Key Responsibilities
Work closely with existing and new customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovative solutions to maintain and grow sales within an assigned territory
Assist with customer service and account management activities under the guidance of experienced sales professionals
Provide technical support by identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving customer issues, escalating when necessary
Perform system analysis, interpret data, and prepare written recommendations to optimize customer operations
Promote and support innovative technologies to build long-term customer relationships
Develop and strengthen relationships with key customer stakeholders, including facility and plant leadership
Support achievement of annual sales targets through professional selling, territory planning, and new business development
Assist with sample collection and conduct laboratory analysis as required
Requirements
Position Requirements
Ability to travel within the assigned sales territory
Up to 25% overnight travel may be required
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
At least two years of successful technical sales or field sales support experience
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role
Physical Demands
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 55 pounds at chest height
Position is safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or life sciences
Three or more years of successful technical sales or field sales support experience
Experience in the oil and gas industry
High proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office and internal business systems
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication, organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
Proven adaptability, ethical judgment, and self-motivation
Mechanical aptitude
