Aloha! Nephrology Opportunity on Maui – Island Kidney Care
Island Kidney Care (IKC) is seeking a full-time nephrologist to join our team on the beautiful island of Maui, Hawaii. IKC is a division of Northwest Renal Clinic (NWRC)—a respected, physician-led practice of 27 nephrologists based in Portland, Oregon, with more than 40 years of experience providing comprehensive renal care. This structure gives you the best of both worlds—the autonomy and lifestyle of practicing on Maui, backed by the resources and stability of a larger, well-established group.
IKC currently includes four physicians and three advanced practice providers serving patients across three Hawaiian islands—Maui, Kauai, and the Island of Hawaii. We welcome both new graduates and experienced nephrologists to explore this extraordinary opportunity to live and work in one of the most stunning and rewarding locations in the world.
Practice Highlights
- One weekend of call per month

- Coverage at 1 hospital and 2 dialysis centers

Candidate Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited residency and fellowship in nephrology
- BC/BE in Nephrology
- Licensed (or able to obtain a license) in Hawaii
- Willingness to make a minimum 3-year commitment to the practice and community
