Description
Saint Louis University and SSM Health is actively recruiting for a fellowship trained urogynecologist to join a long-standing successful academic practice group of 4 physicians due to the impending retirement of its two physicians after 23 and 25 years respectively. This should enable the person to quickly establish a busy practice. All of the physicians have a busy faculty clinical practice. There is a bonus structure based on productivity to enhance earning capacity.
As an academic program, primary teaching and clinical duties will include education of 24 Obstetrics and Gynecology residents, medical students, clinical patient care, scholarly activities and community outreach. Our progressive practice would be interested in any additional skills/clinics that a new faculty member would bring within their field of expertise.
Saint Louis University and SSM Health are both mission-based organizations and it is a rewarding place to work. The department provides health care for a diverse patient population in private offices, resident and public health clinics and outreach sites. The Division of Urogynecology enjoys a large referral service from MO and Southern IL. Our average faculty appointment is currently 10 + years which reflects the collegial and cooperative nature of the entire department.
Requirements
Fellowship trained urogynecologist at any academic level. New graduates welcome. The candidate needs to have the desire to build a practice and be part of something. We have a very collegial group, and the physician needs to want to be part of a team and to provide exceptional patient-centered care and educate residents.
