- Assistant Vice President, Valuation and Financial Reporting
Description
Our client is seeking an experienced actuarial leader to oversee enterprise valuation and financial reporting. This is a visible, high-impact role for an actuary who brings deep technical expertise, demonstrated people leadership, and a strategic perspective on valuation, reporting, and model governance.
In this role, you will lead quarter-end GAAP and statutory valuation processes, ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, and manage a team of actuarial associates. You will play a key role in strengthening valuation and model governance framework while advancing the company’s Prophet 360 modeling environment. Reporting directly to the Chief Actuary, this position offers meaningful exposure to senior leaders across Finance, Risk, and Operations and the opportunity to influence enterprise reporting and decision-making.
Our client continues to invest in actuarial technology modernization, including Prophet 360, to enhance governance, streamline reporting, and improve data-driven insights. This role is intentionally designed with room to expand in scope and responsibility as the company continues to evolve its actuarial capabilities, making it well-suited for a proven actuarial manager or leader ready to take on broader enterprise impact.

- Career Trajectory: Ideal for an FSA with management experience seeking greater leadership responsibility and enterprise visibility. This role is designed to grow in scope as the company continues to invest in actuarial modernization and enterprise reporting capabilities.
