Description
CSU is seeking an innovative and strategic Campus Planner (Assistant Director for Campus Planning) to help guide the evolution of one of the nation’s leading land-grant institutions. This position leads master planning and long-range campus development efforts that align CSU’s physical environment with its academic mission, sustainability goals, and vibrant community culture. The Campus Planner oversees a talented team of design, planning, and GIS professionals, collaborates with city and regional partners, and plays a key role in shaping how CSU grows for decades to come. We’re looking for a visionary planner with at least eight years of experience in campus or urban planning, strong leadership skills, and a passion for creating inspiring, sustainable spaces for learning and discovery. Requirements
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban or Regional Planning, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in one or more of the following: campus (or campus-like institution) or urban planning, facilities planning, master planning for educational institutions, and/or space planning and programming.
SUPERVISION: Minimum of three (3) years of experience directly supervising staff.
Must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain a driver’s license or access to a licensed driver by the employment start date.
