JOB DESCRIPTION

Atlantic Health one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry at Morristown Medical Center at our newly renovated outpatient office in Florham Park, New Jersey. By joining the robust department, the candidate will have the support of a number of additional Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists and support staff. This position offers a great work/life balance, with a 22.5-hour work week, limited at-home call and 1 weekend shift per month (paid).

The candidate's responsibilities as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist will encompass comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up care for adolescents and children. Working closely with fellow clinicians and team members, the ideal candidate will play a vital role in crafting effective treatment plans and contributing to the enhancement of patient well-being. The candidate will also be given the opportunity to expand reach by providing cross coverage for clinical services, including adult patients when needed. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the quality enhancement of psychiatric evaluations and treatments across diverse medical and psychiatric services, positively impacting patients of all age groups.

Salary Range: $300,000 - $350,000; base salary only; excludes any quality and/or productivity incentives

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• Familiarity with federal and state standards for psychiatric care
• Demonstrated success working individually and as part of a team

At Atlantic Behavioral Health, we know behavioral health plays a significant role in the healing process - not just for patients dealing with mental health disorders or substance abuse, but also for those recovering from injuries, surgeries, diseases, and other conditions. We help them cope with the stress and emotional challenges caused by such physical ailments. Our behavioral health team features highly trained psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and licensed clinicians. We provide a variety of mental health services on an inpatient and outpatient basis, including intensive outpatient programs.
