We currently seek a Clinician and Intensive Care Coordinator (ICC) to deliver community-based mental health services to youth, adults, and families enrolled in Medi-Cal Specialty Mental Health Services (SMHS). Working as part of a collaborative care team, the Clinician delivers individual and family therapy, facilitates Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings, and coordinates services across social service systems. This role uses a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach to help youth, adults, and families build coping skills, strengthen family connections, and achieve greater stability and independence, ensuring they have a voice in planning and reaching their goals. The Clinician documents and ensures all services meet Medi-Cal, HIPAA, and Youth Homes standards for quality and compliance.
This is a full-time, exempt position with a starting pay range of $70,340 - $71,933 (depending on experience & license status). Compensation for licensed candidates is negotiable at a higher rate. We also offer a bilingual pay differential, if applicable.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide SMHS, including assessment, treatment planning, and trauma-informed individual and family therapy, to help youth and caregivers develop coping skills, strengthen relationships, and promote long-term wellness and independence.
- Coordinate care and collaboration by leading Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings and working with treatment teams, schools, and community providers to ensure services are well-organized, culturally responsive, and aligned with shared goals to promote success.
- Maintain quality and compliance by ensuring timely, accurate documentation, adhering to all Medi-Cal, HIPAA, and agency standards, and engaging in ongoing supervision and training to deliver the highest level of professional care.

Requirements
Key Qualifications
- A master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or social work.
- Registered and in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as an Associate (AMFT, ACSW, APCC) or Licensed (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC).
Other Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Must successfully complete criminal background check, health screening and other state/federal licensing/certification requirements.
- Must have reliable transportation, personal auto insurance, and a driver's license with no restrictions.
