- Community and Corporate Giving Officer
Description
Reporting to the Director of Development (DoD), the Community & Corporate Giving Officer is part of a team that develops and executes all annual giving revenue programs and initiatives related to the campaign. They are responsible for building and maintaining a pipeline through the delivery of the annual calendar of donor stewardship and engagement activities, including direct response, monthly giving, tribute and, in memoriam giving etc. to maximize their impact within the community.
Requirements
Post-secondary education in fundraising, communication, public relations, marketing, business or a related area of study.
Minimum of two years’ experience in a fundraising organization with exposure to event planning, giving programs and recognition best practices.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
Experience with CRM database (Bloomerang, Raisers Edge or others.)
Superior verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Outstanding organizational, time management and customer service skills.
Able to manage multiple priorities effectively and thrive under pressure.
Highly motivated with a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience in working with prospects in a fundraising or sales capacity.
Experience managing a group of volunteers.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
