Coastal Eye Group, the most established and wide-ranging ophthalmology practice in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is seeking a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist or Fellowship-Trained Cornea Specialist to join our respected and expanding team. Position: Comprehensive Ophthalmologist or Fellowship-Trained Cornea Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality ophthalmic care, including cataract surgery and management of a full range of medical and surgical eye conditions.
  
  

• For cornea specialists, additional opportunities exist to perform advanced corneal and refractive procedures, including transplants, cross-linking, LASIK, and premium cataract surgery.
  
  

• Perform surgeries in our two state-of-the-art, physician-owned ambulatory surgery centers.
  
  

• Care for a robust and steady patient base supported by an extensive optometrist referral network.
  
  

• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive eye care.
  
  

• Contribute to Coastal Eye Group’s long-standing culture of excellence and patient-centered service.
  
  

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  
  

• Completion of an ophthalmology residency.
  
  
  

• Board certification or eligibility in ophthalmology.
  
  

• Eligible for medical licensure in South Carolina.
  
  

• Excellent clinical and surgical skills.
  
  

• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
