Position Description
Job Summary
All States Materials is seeking a reliable and experienced Crack Seal Driver with a valid CDL Class A to support pavement maintenance and crack sealing operations. This position involves operating CDL vehicles and assisting with crack sealing equipment and roadway maintenance while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CDL Class A vehicles to transport crack sealing equipment, materials, and crew to job sites
- Assist in crack sealing operations, including preparation, application, and cleanup
- Operate and monitor crack sealing machines, melters, and related equipment
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment safely
- Follow all DOT regulations, OSHA standards, and company safety policies
- Set up and remove traffic control devices as required
- Work closely with crew members, foremen, and supervisors to meet daily production goals
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and vehicle

- Valid CDL Class A license (required)
- Clean driving record preferred
- Experience in crack sealing, paving, or roadway maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of DOT and construction safety regulations
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and ability to work as part of a team
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening, and DOT physical
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
•While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, handle, feel, talk, see and listen. The employee must be able to push levers forward and backwards. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, bend, twist, kneel and crouch. Employee may sit for an hour or more at a time.
• Ability to climb in and out of truck without assistance.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures both hot and cold.
• Exposure to sound or noise levels that may be distracting or uncomfortable.
• Exposure to contaminants such as diesel fuel or exhaust.
• Operate equipment, such as CB radios, and telephones, to exchange necessary information with dispatcher, branch manager, or other drivers.
