We are looking for a General Adult Psychiatrist with a Special Interest in Adult ADHD who is looking for a flexible, rewarding telehealth role with a focus on delivering high quality patient care. 

Altitude Mind Clinic is a modern, highly regarded, patient-centred telehealth clinic. You will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team of other experienced Consultant Psychiatrists and Clinical Psychologists.

About the Role

You will be responsible for providing high quality and compassionate care to patients seeking diagnosis and management of ADHD via video consultations. 

You will also require expertise in the assessment and management of other General Adult Psychiatry disorders in order to provide thorough differential diagnoses and management as needed.

Our clinical process is setup to provide comprehensive and thorough patient care. We have Clinical Psychologists who provide the initial aspects of the ADHD Assessment which frees up your time to focus on the more complex aspects of the assessment, provide diagnosis and management. Our Clinical Psychologists also provide Autism Spectrum Disorder assessments.

You will be responsible for:

Finalising assessments, providing diagnosis and management for patients seeking ADHD care in accordance with Australian National Guidelines.

Creating and implementing individual treatment plans for your patients.

Providing continued ongoing care as needed.

Providing medication and non-medication treatment options for your patients as required.

Working with your patients' care team of GPs and other allied health professionals to collaborate and provide integrated care.

Mentoring and support available.

The role is initially for one to two days a week (7.5 hours, flexible which days) with an opportunity to increase days once established.

Competitive Remuneration - Daily patient billings are over $6,000+ for a typical 7.5 hour day.

District of Workforce Shortage DWS Location - Psychiatrists under the 10 year Moratorium are welcome to apply and support can be provided to obtain exemption from Section 19AB if required.
