Studio 310 is a Raleigh-based multidisciplinary team driven by the belief that good design makes a difference. We’re looking to add an Interior Designer who thrives in a collaborative studio setting, enjoys problem-solving through design, and is eager to grow professionally.
Responsibilities:
Working independently and collaboratively in an open, team-oriented environment
Ability to work on multiple projects at various phases simultaneously
Giving form to concept in all phases of the project from initial visioning and schematic design through CA and closeout
Preparation for and participation in client presentations including meeting minutes and project documentation as needed
Collaborating and coordination with consultant partners
Managing client expectations, completion of deliverables on time and budget
Maintain client relationships
Adhere to Studio 310 practices and process, including project checklists
Oversee and produce project renderings and graphic representations in coordination with Director of Design/Interiors
Requirements
Qualifications:
3–5 years of professional experience in interior design, architecture, or a related field
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited program
Must be authorized to work in US
Strong design sensibility and attention to detail
Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Excel. AutoCAD is a bonus
Knowledge of finish and furniture selection combined with an ability to make selections aligned with the project needs and concept
Excellent communication, organization, and graphic representation skills
Enthusiasm for working across a range of project types and scales—both new construction and renovation
Preferred Skills:
Experience on projects in higher education, healthcare, workplace, or civic environments
Experience with project management, client interactions
Understanding of construction documents and architectural collaboration
Ability to create and manage budgets and timelines
NCIDQ certification and/or Registered Interior Designer (RID) is a bonus
