Candidates must meet U.S. person requirements (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or other protected individual). The position is expected to onboard at an American Rheinmetall location and transition into primarily being located in Warsaw, Poland, for an 18+ month assignment. Further position details will be provided during screening. Job Summary: The M2A2 Bradley BDAR Trainer will design, develop, and deliver a comprehensive 90-day initial training program in Poland for Polish Nationals on the operation, maintenance, and repair of the M2A2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle. The contractor will subsequently provide recurring on-site sustainment training and technical support during follow-on deployments to Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop full training package: lesson plans, hands-on exercises, troubleshooting guides, and Train-the-Trainer (T3) modules for M2A2 turret, hull, and automotive systems.
- Conduct 90-day initial training event in Poland (English primary; Polish interpreter provided). - Certify 10-20 Polish maintenance personnel to perform organizational-level (10/20) and direct support (30) maintenance IAW TB 9-2350-294-13&P. - Create digital maintenance aids (quick-reference cards, interactive PDFs, video demos) in English and Polish.
- Work independently and be able to build curriculum from TBs and TMs with minimal oversight.
- Be prepared to demonstrate competences and instruct Bradley powertrain, hydraulics, armament, and vehicle electronics in a patient adaptive teaching style.
- Travel to Poland/Europe 24 times per year (13 weeks each) for sustainment training and technical assistance visits.
- Provide weekly progress reports and final After-Action Review (AAR) to American Rheinmetall Leadership as defined and directed by Jim Davis.
- 8+ years U.S. Army MOS 91M (Bradley Fighting Vehicle System Maintainer) or civilian equivalent.
- Direct field experience maintaining M2A2 ODS-SA within last 5 years (documented on DD214 or contractor rsum).
- Current U.S. Secret clearance (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
- Proven adult-instruction experience: developed and taught at least one 40+ hour technical course.
- Clean driving record; able to operate Bradley on test track.
- Prior U.S. Army Instructor Certification (ITC, ABIC, or CFD-IC).
- Experience training NATO allies under FMS or MTT programs.
- Functional Polish language skills (DLPT 1+/1+ or equivalent).
- Familiarity with Polish TB equivalents or MIL-STD documentation.
- Experience, education, certification that would be nice to have but are not required
- Travel to Poland/Europe 24 times per year (13 weeks each) for sustainment training and technical assistance visits
