Tidewater Midstream and Infrastructure Ltd. has an immediate opening for an Manager / Senior Manager within the Planning & Strategy group. Reporting directly to the EVP, Planning & Strategy, the successful candidate will be part of a cross-functional team with primary responsibilities focused in areas such as financial planning, strategic review, corporate development, capital markets, and investor relations. This is a full-time position based in Calgary, AB. This is a fast paced, deadline driven role that requires superb organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models used for long-term strategic and financial planning
- Assist in maintaining the corporate financial model, while also creating standardized outputs and dashboards used for forecasting, variance analysis, and benchmarking
- Work with various business groups to evaluate and screen new corporate development opportunities
- Compile and manage materials within virtual data rooms, while supporting key due diligence efforts
- Prepare high quality presentation materials, most of which will be utilized at the executive and board level
- Assist senior management with capital structure review and future capital raising initiatives
- Assist with quarterly reporting, including preparation of board packages, scheduling quarterly earning call with investors / analysts
- Liaise with key shareholders and assist with ad hoc requests
- Stay current on industry trends and news to assess impacts to current business
Requirements
Qualifications:
- University degree in Business, Economics, or Finance from a nationally recognized undergraduate program
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance or similar roles
- Proficient knowledge of both the Canadian and broader North American energy sector
- CFA designation or CFA exam enrolment is preferred
- Highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
