Reporting to the Senior Director, Forecasting , Analytics and Market Insights, the Manager, Sales Analytics & Reporting will lead the development of field-facing reporting, execute in-depth sub-national analysis, and support the design and execution of targeting and segmentation strategies for both HCP prescribers and institutional customers. This role will closely partner with Field effectiveness, Field operation and Market access teams, delivering reporting and insights that directly enable stronger execution in the field and improved commercial performance.
This role is based in our Waltham, MA headquarters. Our office-based employees are required to work in the office three (3) days a week.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Field reporting and sales analytics
- Drive the development and continuous optimization of field-facing performance metrics and reporting for the sales organization, ensuring timely and granular visibility into key sales performance drivers
- Execute rigorous sub-national analysis leveraging diverse data assets (e.g., 867/852 transactions, SP dispensed data, claims) to deliver in-depth insights on regional, territory, and customer-level performance
- Monitor the conversion of target prescribers, systematically identify adoption roadblocks, and generate data-driven opportunities to accelerate sales growth
- Partner with Commercial Analytics and Sales Leadership to support refinement of targeting and segmentation strategies for HCPs and institutional customers, aligning efforts with market potential and business objectives
- Identify, prioritize, and size high-value customer segments using internal sales, and external sales and market data to guide field deployment and promotional resource allocation
- Support the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) cycle by generating timely, insightful reports, critical analyses, and strategic recommendations for sales leadership
- Collaborate seamlessly with Field Operations and Commercial Effectiveness teams to ensure successful implementation and user adoption of new reporting capabilities and analytical tools
- Closely work with Market Insights team to support targeting and segmentation
- Serve as a strategic analytical liaison to Field Operations, Field Effectiveness, and Market Access, providing timely insights and analysis that enhance field responsiveness and effectiveness
Channel distribution analytics
- Conduct ad-hoc analytics of channel and distribution models (e.g., Buy & Bill vs. Specialty Pharmacy) to improve product pull-through and demand generation
- Evaluate channel mix performance (SP/DS) and procurement models to identify growth opportunities and inform sales strategies
- Deliver clear recommendations on channel optimization, working closely with Market Access and Sales teams to enhance coverage and efficiency
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred (MBA or related field)), with 5+ years of progressive experience in commercial operations, sales analytics, or field effectiveness in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrated expertise in commercial pharmaceutical data, specifically transactional data (867/852), claims, and SP/SD dispensation data.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (required, experience with Databricks or similar cloud platforms highly preferred) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
- Proven ability to manage and deliver complex analytical projects, translating data into clear, executable business strategies for field-based teams
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven mindset of proactive continuous improvement
- Efficient independent worker with ability to focus and drive for results

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple tasks

- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience
