Hours: Monday-Friday, [hours and flexible work schedules]
Compensation Range - based on experience: $$252,660 (10th percentile) to $375,133 (75th percentile), plus bonus, (stipend for medical director responsibilities)

This position will encompass Medical Director responsibilities for the PHP/IOP program for adolescents and adults. Additionally, this candidate will supervise APPs

What you will do:
- Provide physician leadership and psychiatric treatment to A Partial Hospitalization Program and Psychiatric clinic
- Committed to working on-site 5 days per week with PHP/IOP and clinic patients.
- Supervise Advance Practice Providers
- Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status examinations and medical histories, to diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Providing evidence-based psychiatric evaluation and medication management for patients with various mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis, and substance use disorders.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Monitoring and adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize patient outcomes, using a patient-centered and recovery-oriented approach.
- Administering and managing psychotropic medications and therapies, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with hospital policies and legal regulations
- Participating in case conferences, team meetings, and treatment planning sessions to review patient progress and provide recommendations for care.
- Educating and supporting patients and their families, promoting mental health awareness and providing resources for coping and self-management.
- Staying informed about the latest advancements in psychiatric care through ongoing professional development and training.

Requirements
What you will need:
- Doctorate Medicine Required
- DEA registration Required
- Board certification in Psychiatry Required
- Current Illinois medical license required or pending
