Description
Your teamPictet Wealth Management combines more than 200 years of Swiss banking heritage with global investment expertise. The Partner-owned financial services group offers a comprehensive service for wealthy individuals and families, including discretionary and advisory investment solutions and family office services.
As a Private Banker in our Zurich or Geneva office, you will be covering the Polish Market, where you will be responsible for business development, the client experience and engaging our resources to deliver a complete wealth management solution.
Your role
Your responsibilities will include the following:
• Building and managing a book of business of high-net worth clients in Poland.
• Managing each account to ensure that clients have a completed profile and that accounts are properly maintained and serviced.
• Meeting prospects and clients and preparing and following up on these meetings.
• Being responsible for the sale and implementation of investment, banking and trust/estate products to core clients, with assistance from all the Bank's resources (investment specialists, wealth planners, credit specialists, etc.). Ensuring that the products and services offered cover the client's needs and meet their goals.
• Monitoring portfolios and providing performance reviews.
• Keeping up to date with news and market events and understanding how these impact client accounts.
• Establishing a close and fruitful collaboration with other departments/locations of the bank.
• Maintaining a strong compliance culture, ensuring optimal compliance and risk management in compliance with all relevant local laws, regulatory requirements, in-house directives and procedures. Possessing adequate knowledge to apply the above effectively and ensure fair treatment of all clients while at the same time adhering to the mission and core values of Pictet across all your activities with a high degree of professional competency and awareness.
Your profile
• Minimum of five years' business development experience, preferably in private banking within the Polish market.
• Ideally a postgraduate degree such as a Master's, CFA, CIIA or MBA.
• Capacity to develop a book of business consisting of high-net worth clients in the relevant market.
• Sound understanding of investments, banking and trust concepts including, but not limited to, asset allocation on structured portfolios, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit and loan solutions, basic trust and identification of wealth-planning opportunities.
• Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
• Solution oriented and with a proactive mindset.
• Excellent negotiating skills.
• Strong sense of ethics, aligned with Pictet's values and partnership culture.
• Fluency in English and Polish, any other language is a plus
• Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
