Position: Associate / Senior Associate - Private Equity

Firm AUM: ~1 Billion | Strategy: Lower Middle Market, Generalist

With approximately $1 billion in assets under management, we focus on control investments and partner with management teams to accelerate growth and operational improvements.

Role Overview

The Associate / Senior Associate will be a key member of the investment team, involved in all phases of the deal lifecycle-from sourcing and evaluation to execution and portfolio management. This role offers significant responsibility and exposure to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate investment opportunities through research and relationship-building.
• Develop detailed financial models and conduct valuation analyses (LBO, DCF, comps).
• Coordinate due diligence across financial, commercial, and legal workstreams.
• Prepare investment committee presentations and support deal execution.
• Work with portfolio companies on strategic initiatives, KPI tracking, and add-on acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Associate: 2-4 years in investment banking, transaction advisory, or private equity.
• Senior Associate: 4-6+ years with prior private equity experience.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
