SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Production and Test Technician III.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary: SEACORP is seeking a mid-levelProduction and Test Technician at the Groton, Connecticut facility. The idealcandidate will have a military background with radio frequency (RF) and/orelectronics experience, but any candidate with experience in relevant civilianfields is also welcome to apply. Candidates must possess the ability to workalone or as a member of a team and be a self-starter when required. Thisposition will be primarily focused on testing activities, and the technicianwill spend most of their time conducting testing with other technicians in a securespace. The technician will occasionally be required to assist production staffwith assembly activities as the need arises.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- RF and electrical testing in accordance with established work routers and test procedures.
- Troubleshooting of test equipment and production assemblies when test results fall outside of specified parameters.
- Occasionally fix broken equipment and production assemblies when repair activities fall within SEACORP's scope of operations.
- Generate and upload digital test datasheets for engineering review.
- Work directly with engineering staff to solve more complex problems as necessary.
- Suggest improvements to documentation and processes as needed to increase efficiency.
Qualifications:
Education: 2-year degree or equivalent college credits with RF or electronics focus (preferred, not required).
Experience: Minimum of 2 years military/civilian experience testing RF and/or electronics assemblies and Active Secret level clearance.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Basic understanding of the principles of RF (Preferred).
- Working knowledge of electrical systems/circuits and theory.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to comprehend and adhere to detailed documentation and drawings/schematics.
- Ability to continue following documentation after becoming familiar with processes and procedures.
- Ability to work professionally with a wide array of personality types.

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Standard Offices and Electronics Assembly & Testing Labs: Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting. In the Laboratory setting, significant use of small hand and electrical tools that require fine motor skills. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs., occasional twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling and squatting. Some potential exposure to fumes associated with soldering.
