Schedule and Compensation: We are primarily recruiting for a 1099 independent contractor role, offering flexibility and autonomy. However, we are open to discussing W-2 employment and different compensation structures to find the best fit for both the candidate and the practice.

Beal Wellness is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary mental health team. This part-time, on-site position is designed for a clinician who values flexibility, autonomy, and collaboration in their practice.

Requirements
Responsibilities
- Create a positive and supportive environment for patients, fostering their emotional well-being.
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnostic interviews with the highest clinical expertise.
- Provide individualized care to each patient, addressing their unique needs, goals, and concerns.
- Show empathy, compassion, and professionalism when working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
- Develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the care team.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, ensuring safety, effectiveness, and compliance.
- Monitor patient progress through regular follow-up visits and ongoing evaluations.
- Deliver crisis intervention and urgent support for patients in acute distress.
- Collaborate closely with therapists, medical providers, and administrative staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in the electronic health record (EHR), with timely completion of notes.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with evolving best practices in psychiatry.
- Provide care both in-office and via telepsychiatry, offering patients flexible access to services.
- Treat a diverse patient population across the lifespan, from children as young as 2 through older adults, with sensitivity to cultural diversity and unique individual needs
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with a specialty in Psychiatry.
- Board Certification in Psychiatry (required).
- Active, unrestricted state medical license in Georgia.
- DEA registration with prescribing privileges.
- Malpractice insurance coverage carried by the physician.
- Demonstrated experience in providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and patient care across diverse populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to all ethical, professional, and legal standards.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation requirements.
