About you

Exciting opportunities are available for qualified Psychiatrists who want to make a positive impact while working in dynamic, multidisciplinary, and supportive teams.

Positions are available throughout New Zealand with immediate start dates, or you can speak with our recruitment team about your plans to move to New Zealand.

To work as a Psychiatrist (Senior Medical Officer) in New Zealand, you must become registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand. Practitioners must meet competency standards and hold an Annual Practising Certificate (APC) to practise safely and effectively.

Once you've accepted a position, our Health Immigration team can provide free immigration support for you and your family. Senior Medical Officers are on New Zealand's Green List Tier 1, making you eligible for the Straight to Residence Visa so you can apply for residency before you arrive.

One of the best things about living and working in New Zealand is the opportunity to enjoy spectacular natural landscapes, outdoor adventures, and vibrant cities close to where you live and work. You're never far from hiking, skiing, mountain biking, water sports, fine dining, or opportunities to experience Mori culture throughout the country.
