Assignment Details
- Long-term contract up to 1 year with potential for extension
- 40 hours per week | 8-12-hour shifts
- Clinic hours: 8:00 am 8:30 pm
- Flexible scheduling, including evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Benefits and paid time off offered
- Previous traveler and IHS experience preferred

Job Duties
- Perform routine and advanced radiographic exams, including fluoroscopy and special procedures (IVP, barium swallow, cystograms, gallbladder studies, etc.)
- Position and transfer patients, explain procedures clearly, and select appropriate technical factors
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot radiographic imaging equipment
- Develop films using automatic processors and manage processing chemicals
- Follow radiation safety protocols, including shielding and use of monitoring badges
- Maintain exposure technique charts and comply with all safety standards
- Assist radiologists during contrast studies and special positioning procedures
- Administer CPR and first aid as required
- Apply sterile techniques to prevent cross-contamination
- Maintain accurate radiographic records and patient documentation
- Provide technical support to satellite clinics and assist with training ancillary staff
- Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends, holidays, and emergency call-backs
- Support onboarding, credentialing, and completion of all required trainings

Requirements:Requirements
Must be registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
- Must have current BLS, ACLS
- Certification of Education - copy of diploma or transcripts
- Must be a US Citizen living primarily in the United States
Technical Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of radiation protection standards and safe operating procedures.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to perform and evaluate diagnostic imaging.
Familiarity with x-ray physics, including circuitry, exposure techniques, and imaging accessories (e.g., grids, filters, collimators).
Clinical Skills:
Ability to position patients with care and precision, even in emergency or trauma situations.
Basic nursing skills, including vital sign monitoring, CPR, and familiarity with emergency protocols.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift and position patients, carry equipment and supplies, and work long hours, including rotating shifts.
Work Environment:
Must follow strict radiation safety protocols and work effectively in a clinical, fast-paced, and occasionally high-stress environment.
