About IMAI
The Institute for Math & AI, Wuhan (IMAI), established by Wuhan University in June 2023, is recruiting top-tier talents in mathematics, statistics, computer science, artificial intelligence, cyberspace security, and related research fields. IMAI aims to establish a talent hub in central China, an academic research center with international influence, a science and technology innovation center, and an application-oriented demonstration base with fundamental original innovation capability in relevant core fields.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Tenured/Tenure-track faculty:
Hold an equivalent position at a world-class university, scientific research institution, or in a world-class discipline, or possess a comparable academic level, demonstrating the ability to independently develop and lead in academic directions with significant potential for growth.
Tenured professor: National High-Level Leading Talents and talents of equivalent level; talents with academic level for equivalent positions at world-class universities.
Tenured associate professor: talents with the potential to become National High-Level Leading Talents.
Tenure-track associate professor: National High-Level Young Talents, or those who have been assessed as having the same academic level.
Tenure-track assistant professor: talents with the potential to become National High-Level Young Talents
Hold a Ph.D. degree (or an equivalent international degree).
For tenure-track associate professor and tenure-track assistant professor, generally, age should not exceed 40 years old.
- Postdoctoral Positions:
Demonstrating strong ethical values and professional integrity, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of conduct in academic pursuits.
Generally, candidates should be under the age of 35 at the time of application, with a robust academic background and a demonstrated potential for making significant contributions in their field.
Applicants should have completed their doctoral degree within three years of the application submission date, or met the basic requirements for defending a doctoral dissertation at the time of application.
Having identified a research team or group and collaborated with the team leader or advisor to develop a preliminary research plan.
Meeting other relevant regulations regarding postdoctoral management at Wuhan University.
