NYU Grossman School of Medicine, an affiliate of Woodhull Medical Center, is seeking an experienced, full-time Vice Chair of Psychiatry. The Vice Chair will be responsible for leading the clinical team administratively and clinically in all inpatient/outpatient, and emergency services.

The Vice Chair will report directly to the Chief of Mental Health. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Chief on clinician recruitment, supervision of all clinical care, as well as leading quality improvement initiatives. Additional responsibilities include regulatory preparedness, and adherence to the standards of various certifying agencies as well as working with hospital and health system leadership to optimize and improve care for all patients in behavioral health.

The successful candidate will provide oversight of the day-to-day general operations, ensuring the provision of excellent and evidenced based care as evidenced by quantitative and qualitative measures, Collaboration and oversight of medical staff, ensuring compliance with all regulatory (JC, CMS, OMH, OASAS) standards, leading the development and refinement of policies and procedures and development and execution of Performance Improvement Initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Board certified- New York State Medical License
- Minimum 3 years of experience
