Description

The City of Stockton is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join our Information Technology team, with a focus on enterprise applications. This role requires a deep understanding of enterprise application architecture, data integration, and IT best practices.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and being fluent in the latest technologies, various AI tools, Power BI, Databricks, Azure, Copilot Studio -Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Amazon Web Services (AWS), to name a few, with experience in the implementation and optimization of enterprise-grade IT systems. 

The Senior Systems Analyst will collaborate closely with developers, City department SME, and IT leadership to ensure our systems support strategic objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and adapt to evolving technological needs. Experience with large-scale enterprise environments, IT Security, and GIS is desirable.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Pattern I:
Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a closely related field and four (4) years of work experience at a level equivalent to the City’s class of Systems Analyst II.
OR
Pattern II: Possession of an Associate of Arts degree or completion of sixty semester units or equivalent quarter hours from an accredited college or university with major course work in pre-engineering, mathematics, computer science. or a closely related field and six (6) years of experience in systems operation or administration, which has included four years at a level equivalent to the City’s class of Systems Analyst II.
OR
Pattern III: Possession of a high school diploma or GED and eight (8) years of experience in systems operation or administration, which has included four years at a level equivalent to the City’s class of Systems Analyst II.

Other Requirements:
Must possess a valid California Class C driver’s license in order to work at remote user sites. 
May be required to pass an extensive background investigation, which includes a fingerprint clearance.
