At Learnitude, we're reinventing learning by making it personal. We envision a world where learning empowers everyone to discover and fulfill their unique potential. We achieve this as a team by staying curious, creative, fearless, and united in everything we design and build. Sound exciting? We think so too!
We're seeking a Learning Designer who combines instructional design expertise with a passion for creating experiences that drive real change. You'll partner with Fortune 500 companies and federal agencies on high-stakes challenges—from organizational onboarding to international development—directly impacting how thousands of learners worldwide discover their potential.
NOTE: This DC-based role requires regular in-person work. Please include a work sample, portfolio, or other example of your learning design experience with your application.
What You’ll Do
Partner with teams and stakeholders to design learning solutions that create lasting behavioral change and organizational impact
Conduct needs assessments that uncover what learners actually need to succeed
Design and evaluate experiences grounded in learning sciences—applying adult learning theory, cognitive science, and motivation research
Create accessible resources across modalities—instructor-led sessions, eLearning, simulations, job aids, and multimedia that meet learners where they are
Deliver visual design aligned with client branding and learner engagement
Support onsite training delivery and adapt to real-time learner needs
Stay current with learning technologies and innovations, bringing fresh ideas that advance our practice

Bachelor's degree in adult education, educational technology, instructional design, learning sciences, or related field
