In accordance with applicable Federal and State laws, the anticipated annual salary ranges for this position, depending on location, are as follows.
Albany, NY: $180,000 to $200,000
Boston, MA: $275,000 to $325,000
Chicago, IL: $275,000 to $325,000
Long Island, NY: $220,000 to $240,000
Los Angeles, CA: $275,000 to $325,000
Manchester, NH: $180,000 to $200,000
New York, NY: $275,000 to $325,000
Providence, RI: $180,000 to $200,000
Rochester, NY: $180,000 to $200,000
San Francisco, CA: $275,000 to $325,000
Washington, DC: $275,000 to $325,000
In addition to a standard benefits package, this role may be eligible for additional contingent compensation based on an array of factors, including but not limited to: work performance, geographic location, work experience, education, and qualifications. Because such contingent compensation is not yet calculable or may be zero ($0) in some circumstances, the above-listed salary range(s) are Nixon Peabody’s good faith estimate of the annual salar(ies) it reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of this posting.
Job Requirements:
Our Corporate Practice Group is seeking to hire a mid-level associate to join our Tax Team in any of our U.S. offices, or remote.
The ideal candidate will havefour to six years of experiencewith broad knowledge of corporate and transactional tax matters. The successful candidate will support our general corporate law team on matters in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, international transactions, and REITs.
Qualified candidates will have strong academic credentials, superb judgment and communication skills, and a commitment to providing excellent client service.
