We're a woman and LGBTQ+ owned multi-specialty, behavioral health group practice dedicated to providing state of the art behavioral health assessment, treatment and consultation in order to help our clients live happier and healthier lives.

Some things you might not know about CPA - our leadership team is continuously engaged in advocacy efforts to improve access to mental health care AND to address the student loan burdens faced by clinicians. Our founder & CEO has testified at the State House and we frequently engage with other groups and organizations to ensure that everyone has access to care. And, CPA was the first private behavioral health group in the U.S. to begin offering a Student Loan Repayment Program to help our staff pay down debt as quickly as possible.
Our clinical team includes over 50 doctoral level psychologists, neuropsychologists, psychiatrists and clinical nurse specialists who offer evidence-based treatment in 5 convenient locations. And, our many outstanding administrative and technical staff members keep CPA humming along seamlessly to ensure that our clients, referral sources and fellow team members have the best possible experience with CPA.
CPA was founded in 2004. Since that time, we've grown CPA has grown to become one of the preeminent private behavioral health groups in Massachusetts. To date, we've helped over 25,000 clients lead happier and healthier lives.
In addition, CPA has endeavored to be a socially responsible organization that emphasizes preserving the planet's natural resources, educating the public about behavioral health issues, and creating a great place to work for great people.
Company History
Commonwealth Psychology Associates® was founded in 2004 to improve access to excellent care for clients. After practicing privately for many years, Andrea Piatt, Ph.D., ABPP, a clinical neuropsychologist, endeavored to create a center where clients could receive a comprehensive range of evidence-based and often hard to find behavioral healthcare services. CPA now employs over 80 full-time staff members who, collectively, help over 1,000 clients per week receive top notch behavioral healthcare.
