Company History
Northwest Harvest, established in 1967 in Seattle, Washington, is a social justice organization committed to ensuring access to nutritious food for everyone. Over the years, we have grown to serve all 39 counties in Washington, partnering with schools, food banks, and meal programs across the state to ensure food gets to our hungry neighbors, no questions asked. In addition to food distribution, we engage in advocacy at the local and state level to address the root causes of hunger and advance food equity. Through these efforts and our programs supporting underserved communities, including Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), we have spent more than 55 years working to create a hunger-free Washington.
