Positive Mind Works is a clinician-led telehealth psychology and psychiatry practice serving clients across New Zealand and Australia. Our team of about 30 clinicians works alongside dedicated administration, accounts and IT staff, so clinicians can focus on clinical work.
We provide care by video, which improves access for people who may struggle to reach specialist mental health support, including those in regional areas. Our specialist ADHD service, Focus Mindworks, partners with GP practices and PHOs in New Zealand to give primary care a clear route to ADHD assessment and specialist advice.
We believe sustainable clinical work matters. Our psychiatry roles can combine direct patient care with GP liaison, advisory work and research for those who are interested.
Positive Mind Works was founded by psychologist Samantha Spafford and was one of the first online psychology services in Australia. With more than 13 years of telehealth experience, the practice has grown from a small psychology team into a trans-Tasman psychology and psychiatry service.
We later launched Focus Mindworks to help GPs and patients access specialist ADHD care in New Zealand. Today, we continue to develop services that work closely with primary care and make specialist support easier to reach.
