Description

MercyLand Psychiatry, Inc. is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Addiction Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive, evidence-based psychiatric and substance use disorder evaluation, treatment, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) in an outpatient clinic setting. In this role, you will deliver compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care, lead multidisciplinary clinical discussions, and design individualized recovery plans for patients navigating complex co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

Requirements

Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and risk stratifications for patients presenting with substance use and co-occurring psychiatric disorders.
 

Formulate and manage comprehensive treatment plans, including Evidence-Based Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) such as buprenorphine, naltrexone, and suboxone administration.
 

Provide continuous pharmacotherapy, medication management, and ongoing psychiatric monitoring.
 

Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of primary care providers, therapists, clinical social workers, and case managers to optimize holistic patient care.
 

Order, interpret, and monitor laboratory screenings, toxicology screens, and relevant medical workups.
 

Complete clinical documentation in accordance with state guidelines, federal DEA regulations, and organizational standards within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
