This is an exciting opportunity to join the multidisciplinary team at Cooinda Clinic, Buderim Private Hospital, on the
Sunshine Coast. In this employed role, you will work closely with the Intake Officer to assess and admit acute referrals,
while also providing consultation for inpatient and day program assessments and post-discharge follow-up. It is a
rewarding position for a clinician who values collaborative care and is looking to build experience in a respected private
mental health setting, with the role also offering a strong pathway into private practice.

Buderim Private Hospital’s Cooinda Mental Health Service is one of Queensland’s leading private mental health services,
offering compassionate, evidence-based care in a purpose-built and supportive environment. Cooinda includes a 33-bed
acute inpatient unit for adults aged 18 and over, as well as outpatient, day patient and Consultation Liaison services. Our
multidisciplinary team includes Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Clinical Nurses, Exercise Physiologists and allied health
professionals, with outpatient programs supporting people experiencing depression, anxiety, addiction, post-traumatic
stress disorder (PTSD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) needs.

Remuneration and benefits

• Competitive hourly rate of \$200 per hour plus superannuation

Requirements

• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, or an equivalent postgraduate
  qualification.
