- Faculty Positions - Hospitalist and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrists
Description
The George Washington University and Capital Medical Group, formerly known as the Medical Faculty Associates, are seeking academic hospitalist psychiatrists for full-time, regular faculty appointments in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. Candidates with fellowship training in consultation-liaison psychiatry are invited to apply.
Responsibilities include serving on the psychiatry hospitalist team, which supports medical-surgery units, the inpatient psychiatric service, and the emergency department; teaching medical students and psychiatry residents; seeing patients in an outpatient setting; and developing a clinical research program.
These non-tenure-track positions, expected to start as early as Winter 2026, will be filled at a rank (Instructor/Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) and salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $280,000 to $320,000. Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must be board-certified or eligible in General Psychiatry and license-eligible in the District of Columbia at the time of appointment.
