- Academic Appointment with the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine—ideal if you enjoy teaching and mentoring
- Work closely with psychiatry residents and medical students, shaping the next generation of physicians

- Be part of a system with 13 residency programs and 16 fellowships, including Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
Meaningful Clinical Work—With Balance
- Manage a focused inpatient caseload (10–12 patients/day)
- Treat an acute adult population in a high acuity, short-duration environment
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, enhancing both patient outcomes and your leadership skills
- Practice in a setting that values quality over volume, allowing you to deliver thoughtful, patient-centered care

What You Bring
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility (ABPN)
- Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
