Townsville Hospital and Health Service is seeking Consultant Psychiatrists to join our Adult Mental Health Service. Opportunities are available across Adult Community Mental Health Teams and Holiday Reliever positions.
Working within a supportive multidisciplinary environment, you will provide specialist psychiatric care and clinical leadership across hospital, community and outreach settings while contributing to contemporary models of care for adults receiving mental health services.

About the Role
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will provide high-quality specialist psychiatric care within Adult Mental Health Services while delivering both clinical and non-clinical services that benefit the community of North Queensland.
The role includes providing leadership and clinical expertise across Adult Community Mental Health Teams and/or the Adult Acute Mental Health Inpatient Unit. You will work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver evidence-based care while contributing to teaching, supervision, service development and research.
